Bankir.Ru moves the Internet portals to "cloud"

On December 25, 2013 the ActiveCloud by Softline company announced placement of the Internet portals of Bankir.Ru news Agency in "cloud" of ActiveCloud by Softline.

Project Tasks

Earlier web services of the agency were placed on six own servers in the rented data center. In process of development of projects traffic and load of the websites increased. There were not enough capacities, over time the IT system began to work unstably, problems with synchronization of data, step-by-step expansion of the platform and speed of work of a disk subsystem appeared. Besides, at emergence of difficulties with network access to all information vanished.

Project Progress

Technical specialists of Bankir.Ru news Agency together with engineers of ActiveCloud during the night moved portals on the cloud platform ActiveCloud by Softline. Within migration front-end servers (show-window), back-end servers and database servers were transferred. Thanks to careful study of combined actions migration did not demand a break in work. At once additional capacities were connected that in standard infrastructure would be difficult to be made: it would demand the additional hardware and time for transfer of a system.

Project Results

The cloud hosting helped a technical team of the customer to implement flexible management by the capacity of servers, selecting their optimal configurations and roles. Thanks to the built-in balancer of loading users address the least loaded servers that considerably increases the speed of work of portals.

Considering that the websites work with important financial information of the different organizations, technical specialists of ActiveCloud helped the agency to implement a security system of data and protection against DDoS attacks.
