On January 13, 2014 the Beltel system integrator announced completion of upgrade of IT infrastructure of BIN Insurance company.
Project Progress
Within the project moving of IT infrastructure of the company to external DPC is executed, a number of aspects of functioning of services is solved.
In addition to transfer of IT infrastructure, within the project performed:
- migration of a directory service (in connection with renaming of the organization),
- consolidation of IT services on a single platform of VMware vSphere 5.1 (more than 100 virtual servers),
- transfer of 800 users to a terminal operation mode with the system of virtual desktops of VMware Horizon View 5.2,
- upgrade of monitoring systems, backup and antivirus protection,
- deployment and full integration of a system of the joint communications of Microsoft Lync 2013 with Avaya telephony.
Project Results
Centralized operation and new monitoring systems lowered load of technical specialists on administration. A part of services is transferred to outsourcing to Beltel.
