Tula small-arms factory (Microsoft Exchange Server)

The SoftExpert company successfully completed the project for JSC Tula Small-arms Factory on creation information and technology (further – IT) network segment infrastructures the Internet and to implementation of a mail service based on the solutions Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Server.

JSC Tula Small-arms Factory is a part of Russian Technologies State Corporation, being one of the enterprises of JSC NPO Vysokotochnye kompleksy holding, specializes in release of military and civil weapon. JSC Tula Small-arms Factory participates in the international and Russian exhibitions of arms. Products of Tula Small-arms Factory are awarded with medals, diplomas and diplomas.

Network segment IT infrastructure the Internet was constructed almost from scratch. Mounting works of the structured cable network are performed with observance of the technical regulations, requirements, rules and state standard specifications shown to quality of this work type. The Active Directory directory service, a file server, the firewall and also the server of the enterprise e-mail based on Microsoft Exchange Server are unrolled. Servers are deployed in the virtual environment constructed on the basis of Microsoft Hyper-V. Service of the enterprise e-mail is available including from mobile devices. Training of staff of the enterprise in work in Microsoft Outlook using such Exchange functions as planning of time, the general calendars, setting and control of execution of tasks is provided.

Considering high requirements of JSC Tula Small-arms Factory to security of information and protection against date leaks, work with e-mail was organized using functions of control of office correspondence that could not be implemented earlier when using public mail services. Implementation of new technologies allowed to increase efficiency of information exchange as in the enterprise and with partners and customers, to organize control of information flows and also to provide their centralized operation. The proposed solution conforms to modern standards and design requirements and creation of IT infrastructures.

It should be noted that above stated became possible thanks to the fact that in SoftExpert company the engineers certified by Microsoft corporation and having experience in creation of IT infrastructures based on Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server work. The erection team of the company has certificates from Hyperline company, certificates on electrical safety and certificates on work at height.
