VAO NPP implements VKS

On January 17, 2014 the LanKey system integrator announced project implementation of system implementation of a video conferencing for VAO NPP.

Project Tasks

At the end of 2013 VAO NPP addressed LanKey system integrator with a task - to equip a conference room of the VAO NPP Moscow regional center with the modern system of a video conferencing. Requirements were imposed to a system:

• implementation of instant translation during the speeches of delegates in foreign languages,
• automatic recording of meetings,
• scalability of a system and compatibility with information and engineering infrastructure of the customer.

Project Progress

Specialists of LanKey studied tasks and requirements, specifics of activity of VAO NPP and implemented the optimal solution by the price-quality ratio on the platform of the Danish producer DIS. The set VKS includes 25 microphones: 21 delegate and 4 for presidium and also 2 video cameras of high resolution with record in the range of rotation at 360 a hail performing video broadcasting with an output to the screen to translators. Using the highly sensitive audio-and video equipment, the possibility of instant faithful translation is implemented. For ensuring interactivity of the presentations the "smart board" allowing lecturers to make process of the report more visual and available to listeners is set. VKS is integrated with the existing information system, and the special software makes automatic recording of performances in MP3 format.

Within project implementation by engineers of LanKey architectural and design features of the premises are considered. The equipment is picked up in tone to a conference room decor, and places of installation are distributed for the most effective use of the zoned space of the hall including big and small negotiation blocks, the room for technicians and translators. VKS has the available intuitive interface and capability to further scaling.

Project Results

All works are performed with proper quality and in a short space of time. From the moment of solution development before input of a system in operation it is spent less than a month.
