School power supply (informatization)

This situation is set of the interconnected reasons:

• The low level of hardware in school cafeterias;
• Nonprofessionalism of the personnel;
• A lack of financing of the sphere of a school power supply that as a result affects quality and a variety of products of the dishes used for preparation.

For a long time there was a question of reorganization of a system of a school power supply. An automated system in which parents will have an opportunity to control the school menu, structure and freshness of products.

The new system of the organization of a school power supply, will allow to increase quality of dishes, and service as the competent organization of a school power supply taking into account individual approach, is a necessary condition of ensuring the general security of pupils.

Use in this information technology sphere allows to solve a number of important problems:

• Provide a possibility of formation of the order and providing a power supply to the school student taking into account the recommendations of medical and social institutions.
• Accounting of the individual requirements to a power supply of the pupil connected with state of his health
• The system of a non-cash power supply on plastic cards allows to protect children from thefts of cash. At the same time all money for a power supply selected by parents and social services is enlisted on the personal card of the pupil.
• Quality improvement of service of school students due to reduction of holding time of each pupil, at the checkout is not present need to consider delivery, and execution of the account happens for read seconds. As a result queue at the checkout is not created.
• Increase in opportunities of control over quality of a power supply from administration of an education system and parents. Administration and parents at any time can check, than the child ate, even without coming into the dining room.
• The joint with the gating electronic systems allows to guarantee security of schools against penetration of strangers, and gives to parents the chance to timely obtain information on where there is their child.

The following elements are a part of a hardware and software system of the school power supply providing automation:

• The terminal for acceptance of money which serves for transfer of money on the personal card of the school student.
• Workplace of the cashier in which there is a calculation without use of cash, by data reading from the card.
• The server on which information on the personal account of each pupil is stored. Data on all transactions can be stored infinitely long, providing to administration and parents a possibility of control of quality of a power supply of children.
• Upon the demand of school the automation system of a school power supply can join an electronic gating system (tourniquets), the castle systems, "electronic diaries".

How it works:

• The terminal for acceptance of money, as a rule, is located in the zone available to parents (a lobby of school). In this case, parents, not persons interested to give money to the children, can independently put the desired amount on the personal account of the child and also check the account status and browse the register of card transactions and check what their child ate.
• The pupil of school having received the lunch meeting all necessary medical and social standards with a tray approaches the cashier and brings the card to the contactless reader. The necessary amount is charged off its account.
• At any time parents and the school student can browse the register of operations with the card, having approached the terminal for acceptance of money. Administration and parents have complete idea of a diet of the child and what money was spent for.
