Influence of personal technologies on life of the Russian users

Results of the global research conducted by Penn Schoen Berland company showed that residents of the different countries are positive to use of the personal ^[1] also are sure that they positively influence different spheres of life: business, education, culture and art, health care. Most of survey participants note that personal technologies change life and the world to the best and also contribute to the development of social values. More than 1000 Internet users took part in Russia in a research.

Participants of a research see a basis of economic development in personal technologies. Data of the conducted survey showed that IT positively influence development of the modern companies, inspire people to create new business, expand the choice of vacancies.

Respondents from the different countries consider that personal technologies are a key factor of elimination of economic gaps between people with different welfare and also allow to increase education level, especially in developing countries.

The Russian participants of a research, noted a positive impact of IT on different spheres of life:

• most of respondents in Russia (85%) consider that personal technologies help to erase barriers between people with different income level;
• the positive impact of IT on education was noted by 71% of respondents in Russia;
• personal technologies contribute to the development of health sector including in Russia (47%) and also raise the life quality level (61% in Russia).
• the positive impact of personal technologies on the Russian market of jobs was noted by 73% of participants of a research.

Results of a research were for the first time provided at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Survey was conducted by Penn Schoen Berland company from December 26, 2013 to January 3, 2014 among more than 10,000 Internet users from 10 countries: USA, France, Brazil, Russia, China, India, Japan, Germany, Mexico and Turkey.
