EFES Group in Russia completed implementation of a SAP system for logistics management

On January 23, 2014 the Accenture company announced: the implementation project of a new management system for logistical function is SAP Transportation Management in Efes Rus company, is complete. Implementing solution and transformation of business processes took place in join conditions of two largest world breweries SABMiller and Anadolu EFES in Russia.

Project Tasks

The joint project Accenture also Efes Rus thought for implementation of a single system of management of all process steps of logistics, including communications with external carriers. Were the solution of the company the basis for the project SAP — SAP Transportation Management (Management of transportations), adapted for Russia. It will help the company Efes Rus to implement from 700 to 1 thousand shipments daily.

Project Progress

The system implemented by joint efforts of commands Accenture and Efes Rus, is created on the modern platform of the organization of transportations and in its structure the automated planning process, a control system of goods, possibilities of strict control over transportation costs.

With its help external carriers can enter directly data on delivery of separate sendings that allows to calculate more precisely costs and to control the payment fact by each performed order, to reduce risk of an error, gives the chance to the staff of Efes Rus to focus on the solution of other tasks. A system conforms to all corporate standards of the company and requirements of the legislation.

Project Results

According to competent employees of the customer, the implemented project will help to lower transportation costs and risk of an error, will allow to improve quality of transactions of logistics constantly.
