The office "TNK-BP Siberia" is equipped with the system of the 3 MW uninterrupted power

Customers: TNK-BP Siberia

Tyumen; Oil industry

Product: Delta Electronics: Ultron DPS

Project date: 2013/10  - 2014/01

On January 28, 2014 the Range of RS company announced project completion on ensuring uninterrupted power of the Tyumen office TNK-BP.

Project Tasks

The customer needed to provide uninterrupted power of infrastructure of business center (elevators, conditioning, ventilation, lighting, the security and fire systems and video surveillance, the selected socket network of office spaces, a data processing center) with a total power of 3 MW with the scheme of reservation "N+1" and time of ensuring independent operation after power outage for 5 minutes. The customer defined a budget framework for which exit is not admissible.

Project Progress

The project is developed by a team of design engineers, service specialists and managers of Range of RS company. Solving assigned tasks, specialists carried out the analysis of drawings of the building, its technical parameters.

At the beginning carried out an energy audit. Taking into account the received data made two important changes to the project. Settlement power of a projectible system is increased, at the same time cost remained in necessary limits.

The increased mass of the equipment planned for placement on the 15th floor broke all regulations of loading per square meter. Specialists of integrator insisted on transfer of a system on the 5th floor of the building, thereby having provided compliance to regulations of security and guaranteeing to a system a certain service life.

Uniqueness of implementation of the equipment of a similar configuration to the Russian Federation - in creation of three clusters, each of which represents 7 UPSes from the 200 kVA Delta Electronics included in parallel. Total power output of a system was 3.2 MW. Each cluster was reserved according to the scheme "N+1". At the same time, if one UPS fails, then a system at once connects a reserve source that ensures continuous functioning. Primary analysis, redesign of a system, preparation of all possible candidate solutions, supply of equipment and start of a system are complete within two months from the moment of agreement signature.

"This project allowed us to feel some kind of pioneers as in Russia and the CIS countries works of such complexity are seldom performed. The solution found by us is unique for our country and allowed to reach optimal balance between the price, power and reliability in a tough framework of the delivered requirements and deadlines. Certainly, it would be impossible without close interaction with our partners from Delta Electronics. Their solutions only in the market answered assigned tasks" — Gallia Sitdikova, the manager of projects of Spektr RS LLC noted.
