On January 27, 2014 the Polymedia company announced completion of works on design and installation of an audiovisual complex of the main media center of Sochi for work for the period of holding XXII Winter Olympic games and the XI winter Paraolimpiysky games.
Project Results
The solution provides holding press conferences, presentations, video bridges, forward translations of competitions and ceremonies of rewardings, cultural and presentation events.
In the building of the main media center 4 halls for holding press conferences are selected:
- Pushkin on 465 places,
- "Tolstoy" on 220 places,
- Dostoyevsky on 140 places
- Chekhov on 50 places.
Each of these halls is equipped a complex of the integrated systems:
- congress system,
- system of a video conferencing,
- speaker system
- equipment for synchronous translation.
During the press conferences (during the peak period it is expected up to 18 in day) eight target languages will be available. For an optimal solution of tasks of management of information visualization Polymedia integrated into the media center own software - PolyWall.
In the Pushkin hall a fixed asset of information display - two big videowalls from tonkoshovny LCD, are provided the duplicative panels located on hall perimeter. The presidium is equipped with twelve ElementOne monitors. In halls Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky videowalls in a smaller configuration are installed (2 on 2 modules), and information to speakers is duplicated on the built-in tablets.
The press hall on 500 places and the hall for press photographers are equipped with two videowalls in configuration 3 on 3 and 2 on 2 modules. The entrance zone of the media center is equipped with the videowall and displays united in the Digital Signage system for broadcast of the schedule of competitions, video, announcements, news and other multimedia of content.
