EKF electrotechnica implements a management system for warehouse logistics

On February 6, 2014 the LogistiX group announced automation of work of the logistic center of Electrician's EKF company. The project is implemented in the Moscow region using an adaptable management system of LEAD WMS.

Project Results

As a result of implementation of WMS - a system, the overall performance of warehouse transactions increased by 80%, the speed of a complete set and control of orders grew twice. The number of claims from clients decreased by 4 times. Thanks to WMS processing the tovaropotka is provided by 2.5 times with smaller staff, than to system implementation of management.

For February 6, 2014 the WMS system helps to manage all processes of operational logistics of a warehouse complex, providing automatic scheduling of tasks in real time. The logistic center has the total ^{area more than 7.5 thousand sq.m}, rack and shelf sections (mezzanine), about 4 thousand active nomenclature positions work with the range. Besides, in a complex there is a specific site for processing lengthy and products with non-standard dimensional characteristics.

Partners in the project made the considerable amount of changes in technology of cargo handling. Specialists of LogistiX coped with an assigned task, throughout the project providing necessary consultations and data on possible risks.
