MTS Bank (IBRD, Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development) (MFI Soft: Garda)

The project of protection of databases of the Far East branch of "MTS Bank" on the basis of a hardware-software complex Garda BD was completely implemented during 2013. Its main objective - increase in level of security of databases from undesirable disclosure, falsification, illegal replication or destruction of information and also the satisfaction of legislative arrangements (requirements of Federal Law "About Personal Data" 152-FZ, 161-FZ, 781-FZ, 382-P, the international standards SOX, PCI-DSS, etc.). For project implementation the Garda BD system developed by the Russian company "MFI Soft" was selected.

Implementation of an end-to-end system of audit and data protection from unauthorized access to the automated banking system (ABS) became rather large-scale project covering more than one thousand jobs. In total the project occupied 5,800 man-hours.

In the Far East branch of MTS bank the end-to-end system of protection which intercepts information on the set 24/7 criteria and analyzes in the automatic mode data retrieveds with the notification of staff of department of cybersecurity on identification of suspicious events functions.

The project allowed to configure multilevel control of databases with gradation on users, including administrators. In a project deliverable the risks connected with intermittent and deliberate errors of employees during the work with databases at the minimum costs for the project are reduced.
