NIPK "Electron" and "Frontstep CIS" summed up the results of 10 years of cooperation on the project for development of CIS

2019: Results of 10 years of cooperation on the project of creation and development of CIS

Research Production Company "Electron" and "Frontstep CIS" on June 14, 2019 summed up the results of 10 years' cooperation to which came with upgraded version ERP CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine).

Core of the integrated system of NIPK "Electron"

As of June, 2019 enter a core of the integrated system of NIPK "Electron":

  • ERP system with the APS planning module: provides information support of sales management, production, purchases, stocks.
  • Data Collection data collection system which modularly is built in ERP SyteLine: provides operational data entry by means of scanning of barcodes at each stage on production of finished goods and in warehouses.
  • A PDM system (Product Data Management is a product data management system): provides technical document flow and storage of design and technology documents.
  • The 1C software product (1C: Accounting) — is used for accounting under RAS and preparation of the reporting.

All information systems are seamlessly integrated among themselves and work in uniform standards, a complex dynamic system allows to gain "the maximum managerial effect" due to the integrity, emphasized in "Frontstep CIS".

Work progress

Start of information systems was preceded by large-scale work on formation of requirements to systems and the choice of information systems. In parallel there was an active work of services on data preparation. The department of development, Department of logistics, Warehouse economy, and Accounting processed tens of thousands of nomenclature positions which are transferred then to information systems.

As a result of this work structures of products, being in the production plan were updated, the most part of the used nomenclature is unified, also codes are provided to the approved rules of the name. During the same period forces of technologists executed processing of "Dividing sheets" which formed the basis of the current current structures of a product. Before start of an information system tens of business processes in the direction of department of development, sales department, department of logistics and a warehouse, service of production, service of service, Quality Department and accounting were processed.

The project of creation of a corporate information system covered all divisions of the enterprise, beginning from the highest level of the management, average management and, of course, the staff of all divisions, providing accomplishment of the main business processes. It is commercial service, design and technology services, planned and dispatching service, department of logistics and warehouses, production sites, accounting and financial service.

Integration with an accounting system of the enterprise (1C) is also implemented. Within works on integration all reference books of systems are synchronized and data transmission about arrivals and finished product output (GP) is automated. The specified business processes are automated by means of standard version of the system interface SyteLine ERP with the 1C: Accounting system.

Integration with the PDM system of the enterprise is executed. The general reference books between systems are previously synchronized. The interface with a data management system about products includes a possibility of loading of the technology specification and a route of production in the SyteLine ERP system for the purposes of planning and accounting of production. The interface is intended for redundancy reduction of data (their repeated input) and reduction of a temporary cycle of their transfer from designers/developers to a production management system, an inventory control, supply, sale of management of finance.

As specified in "Frontstep CIS", important aspect of implementation is deep integration of information systems (data form in one system and are transferred to other systems). It allows to improve accounting and data analysis, to increase quality of data and to reduce labor input of services on maintaining information and obtaining necessary reports.

The automated business processes

During the project the following business processes of NIPK "Electron" are automated:

  • Sales management
    • Settlement with clients, order management of clients, finished product output, shipment and also the sales analyst: sales by dealers, clients, regions, the sold positions.

  • Purchase management

    • Maintaining nomenclature of suppliers, purchase management: order entry supplier/maintaining the delivery schedule on receipt order/tracking by request.
    • Registration of arrival of materials and the materials completing on a warehouse, formation of necessary documents.
    • The analytical reporting under purchases is prepared: timeliness of deliveries, prices of deliveries.

  • Inventory management

    • Maintaining warehouses, places of warehousing. Accounting of the warehouse movement – registration in the system of transactions of movement of material values by warehouses, places of warehousing, batches: receipt on warehouse/issue from warehouse/movement between warehouses and places of warehousing. Inventory of a remaining balance of Inventories.
    • Accounting on batches and serial numbers.
    • The analytical reporting under stocks is prepared: monitoring of the inventory level, stocks is lower than insurance level, scarce positions, illiquid assets (stocks without the movement), actions (transaction) with materials.

  • Preparation of the main production

    • Maintaining in the system of resource model of the enterprise: division – work center (section) – group of resources – resources (machine/people/equipment).
    • Maintaining in the system of structure of products. Structure of a product – the specification (structure and consumption rates of materials) and technical process (transactions, routes).
    • Formation of the reference information (RI) for the purposes of planning and accounting of production.
    • Use of alternative materials / component parts in specifications.

  • Accounting of the course of the main production

    • Formation of works orders (individual under the Customer order and for planned/forecast release on a warehouse).
    • Formation of accompanying documents: route sheet / material requisition and component parts/task for section (group of resources).

  • Accounting of course of production

    • information input about accomplishment of works orders, including the released quantity, step-by-step accounting and delivery on a warehouse;
    • information input about write-off of component parts, materials and DSE in production;
    • movement of parts between work centers;
    • closing of works orders.

  • Management of direct production costs

    • Formation of planned direct production cost of the works orders corresponding to customer orders on analytics: materials and component parts.
    • For the purpose of implementation of specific requirements of the enterprise regarding calculation of actual cost of the made products the functionality of collecting of actual costs on production allowing to consider costs of the used batches of materials and serial numbers of semi-finished products is implemented. The functionality includes including the graphical interface, displaying a hierarchical structure of costs in the form of a tree – "a tree of FSI".

  • Planning of activity of the main production and purchases (algorithms of planning of APS)

    • Formation of the purchase plan and production on the basis:
      • the customer orders entered into a system (planned and confirmed);
      • demand forecast;
      • the set safety stocks.

    • Purchase planning and productions taking into account consolidation of batches on time and/or quantity, taking into account a remaining balance, planned arrivals and delivery dates.
    • Synchronous resource planning and capacities individually under the order (APS).
    • Assessment of an opportunity and terms of accomplishment of the request, without entering into a vista shot (APS).
    • General reproduction planning (APS).
    • Formation of documents: the diagram of accomplishment of orders, the material requisition and component parts for replenishment of shop stocks, the production schedule (on working sections).
    • The analysis of plans and the production program by the enterprise, workshops and work centers, resources, materials, customer orders.
    • Modeling and comparison of different versions of plans (APS).

We consider that the contribution of the company to development the Russian medicine cannot be revaluated — we are witnesses of emergence of the new medical complexes developed by NIPK "Electron" and always, from the moment of formation of the enterprise, at the description there is determination "first": the first Soviet, first Russian … Work of staff of NIPK "Electron" is very significant for each of us in which high technologies are closely interconnected with qualification and experience, the efficiency of any kind of therapy, so, health and human life depends on reliable diagnosis. The Frontstep company considers the implemented project one of the most interesting. Development of information systems does not stand still. Information systems actively develop and support improvement of business processes of the company in what a special merit IT- services of Electron.
