Yakimovich Boris Anatolyevich is the rector of the Izhevsk state technical university.

Biography

Boris Yakimovich was born on April 15, 1952 in Berezinsky district of the Minsk region. Graduated from the Izhevsk mechanical institute in 1974, in "Technology of mechanical engineering, metal-cutting machines and tools".

In 1974 Yakimovich went to work in the Votkinsk branch - the assistant, then the senior teacher, the head of the department "The higher mathematics, physics, chemistry", the dean of technology faculty.

In 1981 protection of the master's thesis of Boris Yakimovich, and in 1994 - doctor's took place.

From 1994 to 1997 Yakimovich Boris worked as the Head of Department of scientific research and educational process of IzhGTU. In 1997 became the vice rector for the innovation work of IzhGTU.

The open lecture "Supernew Methods of Management in the Equipment and in Life" reads the rector of IzhGTU Doctor of Engineering, professor Boris Anatolyevich Yakimovich. The lecture took place on March 29, 2012

In 2007 it is elected to a position of the rector of the Izhevsk state technical university.

Married. Two daughters.
