Tranzas starts implementation of the PLM and CAD systems

On February 11, 2014 the Borlas consulting group announced plans of implementation of information systems for construction work, preparation of production and product lifecycle management in the Moscow branch to the direction of pilotless devices of the Tranzas Group using software solutions Siemens PLM Software.

Project Tasks

To creation of the Russian pilotless device "Orion" it is going to apply the most advanced automated design engineering systems that will help to organize construction work at the new technology organizational level. The device will be developed in a digital form, including creation of 3D models and electronic design documentation. Unified information environment will allow to organize parallel operation and collective interaction of specialists of different divisions that will accelerate development. This functionality will be implemented in integrated CADCAM//CAE-the solution NX from Siemens PLM Software.

For management of the normative reference information, digital structure of a product, the archive of documentation will use complex PLM- a system Teamcenter from Siemens PLM Software. Its use will help to approve and make changes to design documentation, to transfer the productions in electronic form given for technology preparation - will reduce labor input and duration of procedures and all project in general.

For delivery of the software, its integration into the existing IT infrastructure and rendering services the Borlas company is selected. Jobs on platforms of Tranzas company in Moscow and St. Petersburg will be equipped with the software of NX and Teamcenter.
