Implementation of the ERP system of ediEnterprise from Cargowise there was an Ametist company

The Ametist company works at the market of the international and in-Russian automobile transport, sea container transportations and forwarding services. Having revealed need for implementation of the modern management tool logistic processes in the company, management made a number of demands to a system.

During the internal tender for the choice of a system, the management Amethyst defined ediEnterprise otcargowise and in particular the modules ediCore and ediForwarder as an optimal solution for management of container shipping and automobile transportations. Its thought-over functionality, in particular task management system and also a user-friendly interface and navigation became an important argument for benefit of the choice of a system from Cargowise. Implementation of the ERP system in the company will allow to control service quality by automation of work without significant changes in business processes.

The module ediForwarder, integrates all transactions, using a simple multilevel form for the organization and coordination of any aspects connected with transportation – whether it be an avia or sea transportation, import, export, forwarding. Important aspect of this module is that it prevents emergence of expensive errors, excludes double entry of data, uses electronic exchange of documents between branches of the countries.

The system implementation project is begun, delivery of licenses was performed by the Australian vendor of Cargowise, the implementation project is performed independently with assistance of consulting company RBC Group.
