the I-EMS system is intended for effective control and accounting of processes of generation, distribution and consumption of electrical, thermal energy and other types of energy resources and also timely formation of necessary information for the solution of economic and technology tasks.

The energy resources necessary for production are the major component it cost value. Transition to the new economic relations, creation of the managed and controlled market of energy resources, requirement of significant reduction of a share of power costs and other strategic problems of economic policy of any dynamically developing company require careful control and accounting of the generated and consumed energy resources. The automated system of control and accounting of energy resources of Energy Management System (I-EMS) is the main part of the general control system and accounting of energy resources of the company solving these problems.

System implementation purposes

  • Creation of a single information platform for monitoring of development, consumption and distribution of energy resources.
  • Creation of a transparent system of accounting of energy resources, calculation of balances for production facilities and types of energy resources.

I-EMS provides the solution of a broad spectrum of problems of automation of process of control and accounting of energy resources, such as:

  • Automatic information acquisition about process parameters, a status and extent of loading of the equipment from the PCS.

  • Providing reliable technology information about production and consumption of all types of energy resources in real time.
  • The automated processing and the analysis of parameter values of energy consumption on the algorithms and regulations approved at the enterprise.
  • Implementation of method of calculation of volume and mass flow, amount of heat and heat content (enthalpies and caloric contents) different types of energy resources on the basis of the existing GOST and GSSSD.
  • Control of reliability of work of metering stations.

System architecture

I-EMS represents the open distributed multi-layer automated system. For storage of the normative reference information and also data on development and consumption of energy resources the Microsoft SQL Server is used. I-EMS has modular structure that allows to provide step-by-step system implementation, the subsequent upgrade and expansion without replacement of software products and changes of the general structure of a system.

Structure of a software package

The application server is implemented in the form of service of the operating system and intended for request processing of users. Request processing modules on configuring of metadata and modules of loading and unloading of data from external and to external data warehouses of real time are a part of the server.

The following client applications are composition: Automated workplace "Administrator", automated workplace "Accounting of TER" (accounting of heat power resources), automated workplace "Maintaining NSI" (maintaining normative reference information), automated workplace "Planimeter", automated workplace "Planning and Forecasting", automated workplace "Reporting and Data Transmissions in ERP". Composition can be expanded add-on modules.

The automated workplace "Administrator" allows to change settings of a system, to synchronize settings of all integrated systems.

The automated workplace "Accounting of TER" is the main system module intended for control and accounting of data on development, consumption and distribution of energy resources and also for formation of the necessary reporting.

The automated workplace "Maintaining NSI" provides the centralized maintaining the normative reference information, is intended for maintenance in current status of qualifiers and reference books, configuring of the database of a system.

The automated workplace "Planning and Forecasting" is intended for planning of electricity consumption and other types of energy resources, formation of regulations of consumption, control of observance of regulations and limits, formation of the necessary reporting.

The specialized module automated workplace "Planimeter" is intended for data processing, arriving from recording instruments in the form of band and disk charts.

Besides, the superstructure to Microsoft Excel EMS-Datalink intended for report generation by users without additional programming is composition.
