Salayev Badma Katinovich is the rector of the Kalmyk state university.

Biography

Badma was born on March 24, 1966 in the settlement of Homutnikovo Iki - Burulsky district of the Republic of Kalmykia.

In 1990 graduated from the Kalmyk state university majoring in Zootechnics.

In 2004 defended the master's thesis on the subject "Formation of Valuable Orientations as Means of Overcoming Deviant Behaviour of Teenagers" with award of an academic degree of the candidate of pedagogical sciences.

Worked as the deputy secretary of committee of Komsomol of the university, the leading specialist of the sector of printing of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of the Kalmyk SSR, the secretary of committee of Komsomol of Kalmgosuniversitet.

From 1991 to 1992 worked as the head of department for youth of the Elista Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies.

In 1992 and for 1993 Badma worked as the head of department for youth and sport, the Chairman of the Committee for youth of city administration Elista.

From 1993 to 1998 he is the chief specialist of the Office of the Representative of the President of the Republic of Kalmykia.

In 1998 became the head of department for youth, to tourism and sport of city administration Elista where worked for 1999.

Since 1999 Badma Salayev passed to work into executive authorities of the republic:

  • since 1999 it worked as the chief specialist of the secretariat of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kalmykia;
  • since March, 1999 Salayev became the deputy minister of the general and professional education of the Republic of Kalmykia;
  • from January, 2003 to 2007, it is the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kalmykia.

Since January, 2011 Badma Salayev works as the rector of FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education "The Kalmyk state university".

For February 18, 2014 Badma Katinovich Salayev works as the rector of the Kalmyk state university.
