Oleg Amursky, the head of the center of a business intelligence of VTB 24 bank shared experience of implementation of SAS VA in Russia. The approved development strategy of bank meaning significant growth of efficiency together with the competitive and quickly changing volatile market demand from the management of all levels of more operational monitoring, the analysis and decision making. For accomplishment of this strategy the bank made one and a half years ago the decision to test the SAS Visual Analytics system. Within "pilot" client segments in terms of accumulation of their potential and profitability were analyzed, those narrow segments which make the maximum profit are defined, and for them possibilities of development of products and services are revealed. Today in VTB 24 these segments are recognized the most profitable and priority for development. Summer of 2013 was an augmented list of the analyzed characteristics and deeper analysis on credit and deposit portfolios is implemented. If earlier from the idea of creation of the difficult report before its implementation passed about a month, then now, in the presence of necessary data, there is enough one-two hours, at most — one day. The bank had an opportunity in real time to analyze large volumes of data in different cuts and also to pass from units of the high level to detailed data. The speaker also recommended to use project approach and to pay attention to an equipment sayzing.
