The Maxi network initiates use of EDI in document flow with suppliers

On February 18, 2014 the Edisoft company announced the beginning of the project of connection of suppliers of shops of Maxi network to an electronic document management system the implementing solution EDI Platform.

Project Tasks

Being guided by the purposes - to increase efficiency of cooperation, to lower mutual costs, the Maxi retail network passes to electronic document management during the work with suppliers.

Project Progress

The Maxi company stopped the choice on integration of the accounting system into the platform of EDI provider – the software solution allowing to receive the greatest efficiency from implementation of EDI - sending and obtaining documents between the accounting systems of retail chain stores and suppliers is automatic as manual entry of data is excluded.

It is supposed that implementation of EDI will allow to optimize significantly, both process of exchange of documents with suppliers, and business processes of the company in general: accelerate information exchange, exclude errors in documents, reduce labor and material costs. Now, when all necessary works on integration are completed, the Maxi company is ready to the next stage – mass connection of suppliers.

For February 18, 2014 the Maxi network uses two types of electronic documents: ORDERS and ORDRSP.
