Auchan implements hybrid POS terminals

On February 20, 2014 the Fujitsu company announced deployment of the hybrid solution U-Reverse in the Auchan SA ("Auchan") group.

Project Results

The solution for the settlement and cash system of shop - U-Reverse is unrolled in Auchan shops under the Trolley Express trademark and intended for flexible management by queue for the purpose of quality improvement of service of buyers.

The U-Reverse system is unrolled in four hypermarkets "Auchan", including in two new shops Aéroville and Epinay-sur-Seine in France.

U-Reverse is the first hybrid cash solution for hypermarkets with a possibility of independent calculation with buyers. A system gives the chance to the operator quickly to switch from the self-service mode in a standard mode when queue begins to grow. Such approach allows "unload" personnel as cashiers do not need to recalculate cash any more and to manually conduct balance of cash desk when opening and closing.
