The enterprise portal stores internal information of the organization, including information about the company, its employees, structure and allows personnel to work with important documents in a single information space, integrating various information solutions.

The portal allows you to post corporate information, internal documents and regulations that are mandatory for reading, company rules, data on the structure of departments and employees, maintain an event calendar, corporate news and media content. For informal communication, the portal has a forum.

THESIS: The portal is an addition to the THESIS document management system, adding quick access to the most important corporate information and allowing you to include a larger circle of employees in document collaboration.

The portal gives access to the most used functions of the ESM THESIS system. Users in the portal can create tasks and documents, see notifications for current documents and tasks, "Application Folders" and the number of cards in them. Through the portal, you can upload documents to the THESIS system for registration - even those users who do not have access to the system can do this. If you have access, users can, using a single authorization, switch from the portal to the THESIS system.

Two-way integration of the latest version of the TEPS 3.6 system with the portal allows you to publish documents from the system for all employees to familiarize themselves with. Especially important documents can be displayed in the news, as well as referenced in letters and instant messages.

The portal can be supplemented with services necessary for the company, for example: currency calculators, event reminders, booking meeting rooms, ordering corporate transport, etc. Portal sections and services can be configured according to the official duties of the user, department or department in which he works. Administrator training is required to configure the portal, and software development skills are not required.

THESIS: The portal is based on the Liferay Portal open source platform. This solution does not require additional licenses and allows you to customize the unique display and content of pages for different users, integrate the portal with external systems, for example, with MS Office, mail clients, etc.

At the end of 2015, EMDEV and Holmont joined forces to improve the integration of the THESIS: Portal solution with the THESIS document management system. As part of the collaboration, the following functionality was implemented:

  • Quick access to document folders; EDMS
  • Notification of the user about new events in the EDMS THESIS;
  • Sending the document from the portal to the EDMS THESIS;
  • Publication of agreed documents on the portal;
  • Integration of portal calendars Liferay and EDMS THESIS.

Later, Holmont entered into an exclusive partnership with EMDEV, the only gold partner of the Liferay corporate portal in Russia. Within the framework of cooperation, EMDEV will develop the solution "THESIS: Portal" in accordance with the current state of the Liferay portal.
