Vantio ThreatAvert is the software for prevention of threats in networks of the fixed and mobile communication.

On January 15, 2014 it became known of Vantio ThreatAvert entry into the market - a product Nominum company, the supplier of software products for network infrastructure and information security support for telecom operators.

Description

Basic element of innovation – the module Global Intelligence Xchange (GIX) developed by specialists Nominum ensuring safety on the basis of continuous updating of information on the existing threats in real time. This approach allows to reach higher level of protection in comparison with use of DNS firewalls.

According to statements of representatives of the company, Vantio ThreatAvert helps to constrain attacks on the network resources which are both in network of the operator, and beyond its limits. The solution provides permanent availability of both the main services of providers, and computers of clients, increasing efficiency of involvement of subscribers and degree of their satisfaction and loyalty. The existing architecture of security of networks is concentrated mainly on their protection against external threats. Improvement of a system of security of networks allows to resist new threats. Eliminating the attacks originating in the network network service providers will be able to maintain integrity of networks and to provide optimum level of quality of their functioning for high-quality achievement of services.

Installation

The solution Vantio ThreatAvert is built in the software package Vantio Cache Server DNS and provides protection against different types of the attacks, including against actions using botnets, penetrations of malware, spamming using the DNS resources, the DoS/DDoS-attacks and the organization spam mailings.

Availability

In the first quarter 2014 Vantio ThreatAvert will leave in the form of the software product and the device.
