Content

On March 11, 2014 the Comparex company announced end of the first stage of the implementing solution Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 in IT infrastructure of the government of Tula region.

Project Tasks

The guide of committee of Tula region to informatization and communication was faced by tasks:

  • increase efficiency of use of a corporate information system by means of the centralized storage of personal, contact and organizational data of all employees
  • reduce quantity of errors of input of personal data of users due to automatic collecting and data-refresh from a set of the personnel systems.

Separate interest an opportunity to carry out integration of the available systems with the website of the government of the region and to show integration with a self-service portal of users was represented.

Project Progress

At the first stage of the project specialists of Comparex collected data from the personnel and infrastructure systems of the customer, carried out their analysis. On the basis of data retrieveds offered a solution architecture of Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2.

The proposed solution helps to import data from accounting systems and management of employees (HR systems on the 1C Platform) service Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager, and after processing, the analysis and synchronization with the available data, to export them to the Active Directory directory service, on one of versions of the website of the customer of tularegion.ru.

During the course of performance works at the customer interest in solution integration with the external website was shown. It is caused by the fact that the website of the government of the region - one of the main instruments of communication with the population in the online-mode, but manual updating of dynamic structure of the government and contact persons required labor costs and time.

During the project the general corporate reference book as the web application using the information about users from services Active Directory and service of profiles is developed. The functionality of a self-service portal of users is configured and shown.

Project Results

According to the results of the project demonstration decisions to users and training of specialists of IT department are passed. The list of possible restrictions and questions which can arise when scaling of the implemented solution is created.
