Mosvodokanal equips structure of the enterprise with the VKS complex

On March 12, 2014 the I-Teco company announced a successful completion of the project on creation of a complex of a video conferencing for JSC Mosvodokanal.

Project Tasks

"Staking on reliable and safe hi-tech products, we aim to follow current trends, actively using new products in the field of communications, – Leonid Golovin, the deputy chief engineer of JSC Mosvodokanal told. – Modern means – the universal video conferencing supporting a number of services, critical for business, are necessary for increase in efficiency of interaction within the distributed structure of JSC Mosvodokanal. In a project deliverable the team of engineers of I-Teco managed to integrate successfully main and all remote offices of the organization in one communication network with a possibility of further expansion".

Project Progress

The I-Teco company acquired the right to execution of works on the basis of tender. Experts conducted examination of the existing communication channels of the customer. On the basis of results designed and unrolled industrial a solution VIDEOCONFERENCING, in structure:

• Core of network on the basis of a hardware platform of Cisco MCU 8000, a blade servers of Cisco 8510, the license for connection, the server of registration Cisco Unified Communication Manager.

• Terminals Cisco EX90, Cisco EX60, Cisco DX650 for jobs of users, Cisco MX300 and Cisco C40 Integrator Package for meeting rooms.

"Within the project are created by specialists of I-Teco the general environment with the IP telephony for consolidation of segments audio-and video contacts and the infrastructure supporting mobile devices, multimedia projectors, auxiliary illumination, blinds and other ancillary equipment for video conferencing are set, – Oleg Tolkachev, the director of business development of I-Teco company noted. – The implemented system allows to create and to manage easily video meetings in the High Definition mode, at the same time which more than 60 subscribers can participate in without use of technology of cascading. On a case of force majeur situations such essentially new opportunities as live broadcast of reports from the place of events are provided".

Project Results

The deployed solution provided to hold weekly conferences on a regular basis and the operational meetings of managements of water supply and the sewerage using video telephony.

"Thanks to intellectual interaction with infrastructure of a data network and to the media technologies implemented in terminal units, software clients and server components of Cisco, the constructed complex guarantees quality and availability of video services that is crucial for the network of the customer distributed on more than 30 platforms", – Maxim Repin, the business development manager in the field of technologies for joint work of Cisco company in Russia and the CIS told.

The project of deployment of a geographically distributed HD system is complete in 5 months. The equipment Cisco equips 33 platforms - 65 points.
