"POCCKAT" optimizes accounting of program assets

On March 12, 2014 the Comparex company announced completion of optimization of licensing of the software consolidating all license contracts in the Samara company "ROSSSKAT" in one, using Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.

Project Tasks

For several years the customer company used in a program runtime of Microsoft on the basis of three license agreements – Open Value. However, these agreements fully did not provide control and software management, available in the company.

Specialists of Comparex suggested to optimize the program of licensing by means of consolidation of all license contracts in one – Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.

In addition to conditions of the signed contract Enterprise Agreement the customer received a discount for the software entering the agreement of Open Value in some usluchayakh with prolongation only subscriptions but not licenses.

Project Results

As a result of signing of the contract of "POCCCKAT" received the uniform, scalable and flexible contract with a possibility of introduction of new PCs to operation and adding of new affiliates on any of stages of the three-year contract.

The company had advantageous conditions of acquisition of products of Microsoft, an opportunity of use of new versions of basic products and free copies of additional products for carrying out training in the organization.

Control and accounting of the software as the new, so purchased earlier according to other programs licensing is simplified.
