Guta Bank completes transfer of IT infrastructure

On March 11, 2014 the AMT Group company announced the final of the project of migration of IT infrastructure of a processing center of Guta Bank on servers of IBM of the last generation with Power 7+ processors and IBM Storwize storage system.

Project Tasks

The processing center of Guta Bank works product-based companies OpenWay, Oracle databases of Database 11g R2 and is capable to provide hi-tech services using bank cards, to implement partner projects of required complexity and scales.

Since 2009 the processing center of bank functioned on the IBM Power 6 servers. For last period this infrastructure proved to be as reliable, productive. However in connection with growth of the customer base of Guta Bank and increase in number of the transactions made using bank cards there was a need of transfer of IT infrastructure of the center to more powerful hardware platform.

The bank preferred the IBM Power 7+ servers as the equipment having, according to the guide of the customer, the most suitable characteristics and a storage system of IBM Storwize.

Project Progress

Project implementation was carried out step by step. In the course of preparation specialists of AMT Group together with the staff of Guta Bank developed the detailed plan of migration, carried out necessary test and commissioning.
