On March 13, 2014 the Orange Business Services company announced end of the complex integration project and implementation of modern telephony of a business class, the managed corporate network, upgrade of a server framework in Lafarge company.
Project Tasks
Cooperation of Orange Business Services and Lafarge began in 2012 when before Lafarge there was a need to expand data transmission channels between the Moscow office and the headquarters in France.
Within the first contract Orange provided Lafarge the international IP VPN channel with high capacity. Relocation of Lafarge to new office in Moscow, at the end of 2012, expanded cooperation between the companies. Specialists of Orange carried out deployment of computer networks at the Moscow office Lafarge on the basis of the network solutions Managed LAN and Managed Router.
In the summer of 2013 the Lafarge company was faced the need of upgrade of a system of corporate telephony for regions of presence of the plants of the company. Orange should solve several problems of the client. One of the main conditions of Lafarge - transition from capital costs of IT to [1].
Project Progress
Within the project replacement of telecommunication systems of Lafarge by the new equipment Cisco is made. The number of users from 1 thousand to 5 thousand helped to increase use of the Cisco UCM servers, to execute complete backup of a system and to provide stable and failsafe functioning. Servers placed in a data processing center of Orange Business Services in Moscow that reduced operating expenses of the customer on operation of the equipment.
