CIT of the Komi Republic prolonged the delivery contract software of Microsoft

On March 14, 2014 the Comparex company announced signing between it and the Public autonomous institution of the Komi Republic "Center of information technologies" of the three-year agreement on prolongation of the delivery contract of the software of Microsoft on the program of corporate licensing Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS).

GAU RK "CIT" uses the scheme of corporate licensing of Microsoft for many years. The IT management of the organization estimated advantages and profitability of the program and made the decision on prolongation of corporate licensing within the EAS program.

As the partner, based on the competitive procedure, the Comparex company is elected.

Project Progress

Specialists of Comparex with assistance and technology supervision from Microsoft company suggested the customer to distribute a pool of the licensed jobs on two types: "the easy place" - it consists of licenses of client access and "the heavy place" - all main products are bought. This solution most precisely reflected expectations of the management of GAU RK "CIT" from effective model of licensing of the state organizations. As a result of the company signed the agreement on prolongation of the contract on the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription program.

Project Results

Prolongation of the agreement EAS "Center of information technologies" of the Komi Republic simplified the scheme of licensing of all computer park, lowered financial loading, optimized costs at the expense of payment by installments of payments and fixation of the prices of the period of operation of the agreement.

The customer acquired the right to use any versions of licensed products, according to the Software Assurance program, including the previous, current and any new versions.
