The northwest investigation department on transport of the IC RF upgrades EDMS

On March 18, 2014 the Electronic Office Systems company announced the implementation project of AIK "Supervision" completed in 2011 in an IT landscape of Northwest investigation department on transport of Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Project Tasks

Office-work in investigating bodies has a number of the features connected with need of material accounting of criminal cases and related documents. Rules of conducting document flow in such structures are enshrined in the departmental Instruction for office-work of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The instruction provides use of the systems of the automated document handling only on condition of their compliance to the set requirements. AIK "Supervision" developed by Electronic Office Systems company taking into account specifics of investigative activity completely conforms to requirements of department.

Project Progress

Implementation of AIK "Supervision" began with acquisition in 2011 of 25 licenses which were distributed between divisions. In 2013 the decision to update the version, to expand a system was made and more full to use functionality. For this purpose it was required to buy additional licenses which were intended to the users who were earlier not working in AIK.

The first stage of the project automates functions of registration of all document groups, control of execution of instructions (initiative and this according to documents), execution of instructions with input of reports on each resolution, removal from control.

At the second stage connected additional users that increased efficiency of use of a system: access to AIK was got by most of employees, it positively affected performing discipline, speed of passing of documents, significantly reduced time for search of the necessary materials.

Project Results

At the end of 2013 the beginning of 2014 organization purchased additional licenses, transition to the current version of AIK "Supervision" is carried out, the agreement is signed with Ofis-Dok company on support of the project.
