PZU Ukraine automated process of preparation for life insurance

On March 18, 2014 it became known of the project of process automation of life insurance in PZU Insurance Group. Works were carried out by Softengi company.

Project Tasks

Insurance agents and brokers before software implementation filled in questionnaires and application forms manually, in paper form. Then they were sent by mail together with a document package from the customer to the central office in Kiev where they were checked, made the decision and sent documents back. All process took away too much time, required expenses on office and transfer. Specialists of Softengi company automated difficult and multistage process of life insurance.

Project Progress

Creation and implementation was carried out on methodology of software development of Scrum which assumes that all process breaks into two-week stages (sprints). The small fixed duration of sprint gives to development process predictability and flexibility. Managers of PZU at each stage of development and deployment had an opportunity to improve a system, taking part in high-quality control of process and adjusting it according to requirements.

Project Results

By means of such organization of works the customer received the automated system of life insurance which is completely conforming to modern requirements of effective work with the client.
