OTP Bank prepares upgrade of the core banking system

On March 18, 2014 the FlexSoft company announced carrying out in OTP Bank of a series of the load OLAP tests on different RISC and Intel servers.

Performance measures of automated systems of OTP of Bank at accomplishment of the most resource-intensive group procedures are analyzed — so-called "closing of trading banking day". At the same time as test data volume indicators of the current and perspective business of OTP of Bank were used, additional background loading with emulation of connection of a large number of users was modelled.

Project Progress

During testing the solution "IO Accelerator" of Fusion-IO company (USA) for Intel platform is used that provided significant increase in indicators of a configuration regarding performance. The achieved results allow to draw a conclusion that the solution on business process automation on the basis of the FXL Platform - the registered name with confidence: The core banking system "VA Bank of FXL" from FlexSoft company is one of the most high-performance solutions in the market of the automated banking systems.
