3M Envision Self-adhesive films and glossy laminate

Ecologically safe materials for production of advertizing and large-format printing become more and more popular. Company 3M represents innovation – the self-adhesive films and glossy laminate of the Envision™ series which are not containing in the composition of PVC and phthalates without adding of chlorine and other halogens. PVC - synthetic polymer by which production oil and gas is used. At its production and utilization to the environment a large amount of harmful substances is selected. PVC practically does not decay in the nature, increasing an environmental pressure by the environment. Phthalates also carry to dangerous chemicals: collecting in a human body, they can seriously do much harm to his health.

By production of an ecofilm 60% less solvent in comparison with production of cast vinyl are used. Solventa can do considerable harm to health. Most of them irritates the skin, eyes and a respiratory system and in certain cases does harm to the central nervous system. New films of Envision™ are made on the basis of biological components and approach under the American standards of Green Construction LEED®. Materials are applied by Eko to a design of facades, walls, textural surfaces, Indoor-advertizing. The protected by laminate, self-adhesive films differ in the increased durability and resistance to external influences therefore are ideal for branding of transport, including railway and water.

New films it is more convenient than the others in work: drawing on textural surfaces happens 50% quicker, the high elasticity allows to stretch material for 150% without swelling. The film is easily positioned on a surface, and special channels allow to make pasting for an output of air bubbles accurately, without having spoiled material. At the same time it has the unique tensile strength and resistance to scratches from rakelya which is used when putting material. Laminate protects a glossy surface which saves excellent image brightness even in the sun. The easily deleted glue layer will save a paint and varnish surface of a body after material removal.

The gray masking glue layer - very useful option when branding surfaces. Unlike films with a transparent glue layer, it helps to hide the image of a brand placed by the previous customer.
