BFU of I. Kant equips medical institute with the 3D platform - visualization

On March 26, 2014 the ARIA company announced creation of the interactive educational platform "ARIA of Stereo Anatomica" for 3D - visualization on the basis of the BCC Stereo Visor system by request of Medical institute of the Baltic federal university to them. And Kant.

The software package of ARIA Stereo Anatomica, is intended for teaching normal human anatomy and is used in educational process of university.

The platform represents the modern didactic material which is stirring up cognitive activity of pupils. The informative part of the platform forms taking into account data domain of teaching and represents 3D models of high extent of detailing and the thematic accompanying materials associated with them.

The program has ample multimedia opportunities for creation and maintaining own knowledge base of university.

At the heart of contents of ARIA of Stereo Anatomica 3D - the atlas of human anatomy with high-polygonal models of the professional grade. A total quantity of anatomic educations — about 4 thousand. Due to use of hardware opportunities of modern video cards demonstration of objects with very high extent of detailing in real time is possible. Polarized stereo glasses of nVidia allow to study the structure of a human body in virtual reality. In educational process the platform can be used as at lectures with development on the big screen, and on seminar and laboratory researches — in educational audiences with the computerized jobs.

Project Results

I think, teachers will estimate an opportunity to use own practices and practical experience which is provided by this product. Modern multimedia tools lift teaching classical anatomy to new level. And thanks to the simple intuitive interface, it is not difficult to master and use them in everyday teaching work at all.
