2018: DEPO Storage 4700 G2, DEPO Storage 5500 и DEPO Storage7000

On June 21, 2018 the DEPO Computers company announced an exit of a line of storage systems of DEPO. Models are developed based on technologies of Netapp company and All-Flash storage systems, the unified systems (Unified Storage) and storage systems with block access (SAN) include.

Models of DWH of DEPOT are united in three lines: DEPO Storage 4700 G2, DEPO Storage 5500 and DEPO Storage7000.

According to information provided by the developer, DWH of a line of DEPO Storage 4700 G2 support block data access (SAN) and provide to customers the high level of reliability of storage of 99.9999%. Three models of DWH of this line support all modern data access protocols and allow to create hybrid storage systems in which hard and solid-state drives are at the same time used. In a line two-controller chassis on 12, 24 and 60 disks are provided. These models are applied to creation of highly reliable failover computing clusters.

Model of a line of DEPO Storage 5500

Distinctive features of a line of DEPO Storage 5500 are high performance up to 1 million input-output operations per second and high access rate to data of 21 Gbps. Two models of DWH of this line with block data access (SAN) support simultaneous installation of hard and solid-state drives. These models are used for placement of the high-loaded applications, databases and the analytical systems, noted in DEPO Computers.

The line of DEPO Storage 7000 is intended for deployment in large corporate infrastructures (Enterprise Level). DWH of this line is provided by at the same time block and file accesses to data. The possibility of consolidation of different models of DWH of this line in cluster systems of storage is supported. The building block system provides smooth scaling of performance and disk space. DWH of a line of DEPO Storage 7000 and cluster systems on their basis are applied to creation of big file archives, archives of videos and large-scale video surveillance systems and also to placement of corporate archives of long-term backup, specified in DEPO Computers.

Among lines of DEPO Storage 5500 and DEPO Storage 7000 models of storage systems All-Flash constructed completely on the solid-state disks SAS SSD are provided. According to the statement of the developer, such systems are specially created for work only with solid-state disks and show high rates of performance. Use of storage systems of All-Flash allows to achieve the maximum density of placement in a server rack with guaranteed response time (when using 2.5' the disks SSD of 15.3TB) and with a high performance up to 7M IOPs. A wide choice of disks, configurations of kotroller and data transmission interfaces allow to reach exact balance between the cost and efficiency for each specific objective.

2014: DEPO Storage 4700

DEPO Storage 4700 - storage systems from DEPO Computers company.

On March 27, 2014 the DEPO Computers company announced release of the innovation series of DWH of Storage 4700.


At a system performance and functionality of solutions - a corporate class, at cost it is comparable to storage systems of initial level. A new system was created in partnership with NetApp. It is optimal for virtualization and creation of private cloud infrastructures, work with bases this, storages and processings of records of video surveillance systems. DEPO Storage 4700 is easy-to-customize, use and integration into applications.

The solution is easily integrated on any Wednesdays of data storage and characterized by high reliability.

Possibilities of DEPO Storage 4700:

  • reduces costs for data management;
  • the highest performance for a wide number of databases and other transactional applications in the class;
  • reduces waiting time, increases capacity and an indicator of IOPS;

DEPO Storage 4700 distinguishes use of FC16Gbit technologies, SAS3, DDP, Snapshots, ThinProvisioning, SharedLun, LunCopy, Intelligent Cache Tiering, Data Assurance and a possibility of synchronous, asynchronous and periodic replication which were available only in solutions of a bonus segment earlier.

The technology of DDP executes dynamic redistribution of space at change of number of disks in a bullet (when adding new or failure of the existing disks). Dynamic disk pools considerably simplify data storage system management as during the adding or failure of a disk there is no free idle resource left which need to be managed and which need to be configured. The innovative technologies of DEPO Storage 4700 allow to configure, expand and scale disk space automatically.

2012: Depo Storage 33AV G2_2U

The storage system 33AV of G2_2U is designed using SAS2 technology and c, iSCSI of 1/10 Gbps, IB of 40 Gbps is held for use as a specialized node of the storage area network of the SAN enterprise with connection via FC interfaces of 8 Gbit/. The storage system allows to consolidate big arrays of information and to provide high access rate to them.

Depo Storage 33AV G2 2U, (2012)

The storage system is based on conventional server components and software of RAIDIX 3.0 intended for creation of high-performance storage systems on the basis of a one-controller configuration. Distinctive feature of software of RAIDIX 3.0 is the universality of the solution: it is optimal during the work both with stream data, and with the transaction systems.

In model drives with the SATAII-SATAIII or SAS2 interface are used. The disk array includes to XX (12 for model 2U, 16 – for 3U, 24 – for 4U) hard drives with a possibility of "hot" replacement in one basket. The connectivity of additional baskets of the DEPO Storage 2000 series with the maximum expansibility to 144 disks is supported.

For storage systems of this series expansion of conditions of the standard guarantee by means of acquisition of Service packets of DEPO which allow to select the desirable level and term of warranty service is possible.
