Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite

Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite is the software package implementing BIM technology for design of infrastructure facilities.

The intelligent, based on computer model tools allow to work with high quality, always to have near at hand the necessary information and to make the right project decisions. The software products which are a part of a complex provide to engineers real advantages on all blueprint stages and operation of projects of transport constructions, land management and water use.

2014

On March 31, 2014 the Autodesk company announced an exit of the updated release of Infrastructure Design Suite.

In a product deep improvements of AutoCAD Civil 3D, including the updated user interface, increase in flexibility of modeling of dynamic 3D models of linear constructions (corridors), more effective tools are made for work with profiles, the improved tools for execution of drawings and more perfect tools for creation of own elements of constructions /

The release of the Russian-language version of a product is planned for April, 2014.

2015: There was a version of Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite 2016

On May 27, 2015 the Autodesk company announced release of versions of software packages 2016 for design. Changes are also made to Infrastructure Design Suite.

In Infraworks the possibility of calculation of traffic on project roads and the selected territory, library of domestic facades of buildings, work with subjects to profiling, enhanced capabilities of creation and the analysis of bridge elements and the systems of a reservoir appeared. New commands for drawing tags for pipelines, function of creation of surfaces from a cloud of points and cycling of structural elements, work with the coordination Navisworks models, new abilities to integrate with Infraworks and Vault are added to AutoCAD Civil 3D.

A system is available in three versions:

• Standard: basic opportunities of planning, design and coordination of actions of the specialists developing projects of infrastructure.
• Premium: the solution based on technology of information modeling (BIM) with opportunities of design of infrastructure, building constructions and utility networks, the analysis and visualization.
• Ultimate: the expanded complex containing specialized tools for design of building constructions, engineering systems and architectural design.
