MTS starts new DPC

On April 2 204 years the Nvision Group company announced creation data center for the telecom operator of MTS.

The operator is going to use DPC for quality improvement of network management in the conditions of the explosive growth of a mobile data transmission traffic, and for providing commercial services, including cloud.

As a part of DPC the systems of intellectual infrastructure management, collecting and information analysis in real time work.

NVision Group created failsafe engineering infrastructure of DPC. A number of structure members of the center corresponds to the high level of reliability of Tier IV according to Uptime Institute classification.

Management of new data center is most automated: the powerful automated system of scheduling and management (ASDU) is created, it increases efficiency and reliability of operation of cooling systems, ventilation, power supply, etc. Use of ASDU reduces the probability of emergence of emergency situations, increases efficiency of the systems of engineering support of DPC, reduces costs for power supply and service staff, and the user-friendly visual interface does work of employees by more comfortable.

The platform of intellectual management of IT infrastructure elements is implemented. The solution effectively controls quality of physical connections of a communication network and operation of the equipment, warning about change of parameters or violations in work. Implementation of the high-level solution repeatedly increases reliability of IT infrastructure, improves reaction to failures, reduces time of repair and raises the overall level of security.

Power of the constructed data center – 2.2 MW. The engineering systems conform to requirements imposed to DPC of the Tier III level (some elements – Tier IV) according to Uptime Institute classification - the level of reliability of 99.982%. ASDU is created on the Iconics software platform. The system of collecting, information analysis in real time and managements of elements of IT infrastructure is constructed on the solution SYSTIMAX iPatch of CommScope company.
