On April 8, 2014 it became known of project completion on creation of a wireless "internal" covering of network of the operator of JSC VimpelCom in the territory of the Moscow airport "Domodedovo". The project was performed by Technoserv company.

Project Results

Network transmission capacity Beeline in the territory of the airport repeatedly increased due to implementation of an end-to-end system of the distributed antennas (DAS) for technologies of communication of GSM, UMTS, LTE. Project implementation on creation of a DAS system allowed the telecom operator to increase significantly communication quality and availability of services of the operator to subscribers of network in all zones of an aero complex of Domodedovo, including zones of an arrival and a departure of passengers, a transit zone, the check-in area and expectations. Updating of a radio subsystem of Beeline network provided a reliable covering and created a basis for further expansion of network.

"We were glad to help one of the largest mobile operators with Russia in optimization of network functioning and providing with high-quality modern communication services visitors and passengers at Domodedovo Airport, – Sergey Korneev, the chairman of consulting council Technoserv noted. – The implemented technical solution clearly demonstrates advantages of technology of communication of LTE in the range of 2600 MHz. Actually, it is the Russia's first project when on the area more than 100 thousand square meters services of high-speed wireless access in LTE technology are provided. Experience of implementation of this hi-tech project became for our company, for colleagues from VimpelCom company, for other project participants the next step up on a ladder of growth of competences and professionalism".
