On April 11, 2014 the Axioma-Soft company announced project completion of automation in ITK Dialog LLC system implementation of 1C: Trade Management 8.

Project Tasks

Operational data exchange between purchasing departments, sales, a warehouse and accounting is necessary for the enterprise ITK "Dialog" for management of trade inventories and timely accomplishment of orders of buyers. The company implements considerable volumes of goods according to commission agreements, reliable control of settlement with commission agents for this purpose is required. The company regularly carries out marketing actions with use by the flexible system of discounts. To avoid unprofitable sales control of correctness and justification of providing discounts to buyers is necessary.

Earlier in the company separate information systems were used. Data had to be entered into databases manually several times. Work of purchasing department is not automated. Purchasing departments and sales did not obtain up-to-date data about stock balance. In a warehouse there were situations when not those goods were by mistake credited or written off, and based on inventory excesses and shortages came to light. For cost analysis spreadsheets were used, there was no opportunity to precisely calculate cost value of goods. Discounts to clients were calculated manually.

The management decided to review an order of interaction of departments and to implement an information system using which to adjust data exchange between divisions, to increase quality of planning of activity, to strengthen control over providing discounts and settlement with customers, to quickly create reports for the analysis of purchases, sales and the profit of the company. It was required to configure data exchange with 1C: Accounting 8 and own system of an inventory control of the company.

Project Progress

For the solution of assigned tasks vybranat the 1C: Trade Management 8 system. The Axioma-Soft company became the partner in implementation.

Project Results

  • Integration of a system into programs of an accounting and inventory control accelerated data exchange between divisions: specialists of purchasing departments and sales always precisely know how many the goods remained in a warehouse, managers quickly control timeliness of receipt of payments from commission agents, accomplishment of orders accelerated, data of primary documents come to accounting in time. The management in real time receives the necessary management reporting. At the same time the number of handwork on input of credentials was reduced so that the company could refuse several established posts and reduce, thereby, expenses on compensation.

  • The schedule system of purchases and sales is essentially improved. Required purchasing amount is calculated now automatically, taking into account the current stock balance, seasonality, pent-up demand and the sales forecast. The company could provide permanent existence in a warehouse of a wide range of products, demanded by buyers. At the same time it was succeeded to cope with a problem of regrading and shortages, to minimize risks of accumulation of illiquid goods. The term of goods turnover rate increased by 16%.

  • There was a possibility of accounting of preorders that allows to trace quickly customer needs and to plan sales. Buyers do not need to wait any more when the company orders and will ship goods necessary for them. They plan purchases in advance and can be sure that in due time the goods will appear in their outlet. A customer loyalty and partners increased. In the first months of use of a new system the company could increase profit more than by 5% and begin expansion of franchasing network - in two months of work two new partners joined it.

  • Goods cost accounting accuracy increased. Control of providing discounts to buyers is strengthened. When processing of the entering order its cost value and the sales price automatically is calculated, the size of the discount, maximum allowed for the client, is specified. It excludes errors of managers when choosing discounts and helps to avoid unprofitable sales.

Understanding of this truth fully came to us after start and debugging of the new system of management accounting created based on 1C: Trade Management 8. In a project deliverable, executed by our partner - Axioma-Soft LLC, we had an opportunity to objectively estimate "a fight picture" and to quickly make the weighed decisions. We purchased modern, much more effective mechanism of resource management (clients, employees, goods, money). Business process optimization and automation of a part of routine transactions allowed us to save significantly precious time prodakt-and sales managers, to pay more attention actually to sales and development of customer relations and suppliers and to bring these relations to qualitatively new level.
