MegaFon will provide with communication the Federal Customs Service of Russia

MegaFon won in the spring of 2014 a victory in the tender of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation for providing data services between communication hubs of FCS of Russia. MegaFon offered not only the best price, but also the technical solution which is completely corresponding to conditions of the tender documentation. The new contract is expected two years up to 1 quarter 2016 inclusive.

Within the signed contract MegaFon will ensure functioning of fragments of the departmental integrated telecommunication network of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in the Southern, Volga, North Caucasian, Ural federal districts based on IP/VPN MPLS technologies. Data transfer rate will make from 2 to 100 Mbps without restriction of volume of the transferred traffic.
