The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee completed the project of installation of security systems

On April 16, 2014 the Borlas consulting group announced system implementation of technical security for the Olympic mountain cluster and the main media center of Sochi.

Project Results

34 check-points and 12 infrastructure facilities are equipped with modern complexes of the customs equipment that allowed to ensure safety of participants and audience during the Olympic Games Sochi 2014.

The media center of Sochi — the unique platform for work of journalists which ensured functioning of members of the media on XXII winter Olympic Games and the XI winter Paraolimpiysky games in 24/7 Sochi. For ensuring their security and protection against terrorist threats the complex of systems on the basis of special technical means and information technologies is used. In particular, Borlas created a complex of the systems of technical security at all check-points (CP).

18 pedestrian and 10 transport check points on the basis of the mobile, quickly built constructions in mountains, and also 4 stationary pedestrian and 2 transport check points of the Media center are equipped with the most modern equipment of foreign and Russian production. For examination of citizens, their hand luggage and baggage, large-size loads the systems of Rapiscan Systems company are used. Universal customs remedies, and systems of radiation control of pedestrians and vehicles. These projects are performed by Borlas in close cooperation with companies "Videofon MVs" (Mountain cluster) and "TsER Real" (Media center) which provided engineering infrastructure for check points.

Borlas executed supply of equipment, installation and training of personnel to independent works with the customs equipment on Olympic Games objects, ensured trouble-free operation of the hi-tech equipment in difficult climatic conditions of highlands.
