On April 17, 2014 it became known of implementation of a cloud solution of Success Factors to the sphere of talent management in PepsiCo company Russia.

Project Tasks

In the Russian division of the company more than 25 thousand employees.

"That the company further successfully developed in the Russian market, we should understand accurately how effectively to manage our talents. Success Factors is a modern convenient tool which allows to conduct system pro-active work on employee development and strategy implementation in the field of talent management and their attraction in the company", – Georgy Chakhidze, the director of work with personnel in the field of talent management of PepsiCo Russia noted.

Project Results

Implementation of Success Factors systematizes work of managers and subordinates:

  • processes of goal setting and assessment of results of work became simple and transparent.
  • employees regularly meet heads to discuss and correct the purposes, to hear a feedback according to the results of the work.
  • a system allows to plan employee development in compliance with different scenarios.
  • analyzing information provided in Success Factors, department of work with personnel in PepsiCo Russia creates lists of successors on key vacancies.

Information becomes critical during creation of new functional divisions when foreign market of work is not ready to offer suitable candidates yet. So, for example, the department of commercialization of innovations in PepsiCo was created: at that time in Russia there were practically no specialists in this area. And, having addressed the Success Factors system, having carried out search in key skills and competences, all positions to PepsiCo Russia in the field of commercialization of innovations were closed at the expense of own staff of PepsiCo.
