Avaya Automated Campus is the program of automation of connection and configuring of the devices connected in network under control of Avaya Fabric Connect.

On April 16, 2014 Avaya announced expansion of a line of solutions of automation on section from data center to the end device. These products as the company stated, liquidate need of manual adjustment during the routine procedures of delivery of services.

Description

Avaya Automated Campus is created on the corporate platform of data center with programmatically the determined parameters which covers both data center and a complex of buildings now. The platform programmatically defined data center from Avaya uses Avaya Fabric Connect with advanced routing on the shortest way of Shortest Path Bridging and intellectual functions of approval. Using Avaya Automated Campus IT departments will have an opportunity of setup of scalable "cloud" services, initializing endpoints in data centers and distributors, without the need for a configuration of devices between them. IT specialists once carry out setup of distributions and root switches, turn on them and change settings of the terminal equipment and applications.

Avaya Fabric Attach

As a part of updating the automated connection of the user devices:

  • wireless access points,
  • IP cameras

  • non-switchable switches.

All of them are connected by means of the Avaya Fabric Attach function.

Avaya Identity Engines

The solution Avaya Identity Engines which is a part of a complex identifies devices of end users, providing fast redirection on the relevant "cloud" services according to their credentials. Avaya improved Identity Engines, having provided access to the unified networks and applications through a uniform point of authorization for applications of Avaya.   • The routing ERS 4800 switch is a flagship product of Avaya for switching cabinets, Fabric Connect software is strengthened, it allowed to expand the virtualized networks to borders of physical network.

Fabric Attach will be available as software updating to wire and wireless platforms of Avaya.

Identity Engines provides the policy of BYOD, network and support of a guest access for Automated Campus and also runtime allocation of devices on the matching virtualized networks.
