Tramis takes away the services in "cloud"

On April 23, 2014 ActiveCloud by Softline announced project completion of creation of cloud infrastructure for Tramis company.

Project Tasks

In 2012 the company started own online-service MyTramis in "cloud" helping to monitor location of a load and control delivery dates. MyTramis gives the chance of detailing of a picture of the movement of a load - from the order placement moment before delivery of a container to a warehouse.

"In 2013 the Tramis company faced that its modern and fast-growing business uses outsourcing of the outdated information and hardware systems without stability guarantee. This situation required cardinal review", - Vitaly Myakshinov, the manager with key clients of ActiveCloud by Softline told.

Selecting the new contractor the company was guided by a number of criteria:

• flexibility for thin setup of services,
• ratio support price/level,
• popularity of provider in the Russian market
• existence of successful IT projects in the field of transport and logistics.

Project Progress

During the project engineers of ActiveCloud by Softline constructed for the customer modern and reliable cloud infrastructure in DPC of the European country:

• business applications are transferred;
• cloud jobs for employees based on technology of the publication of the remote applications available on any device in an every spot on the globe are prepared;
• migration of mailboxes of users in mail by SaaS service on the basis of Exchange and its integration with "cloud" jobs is executed.

Specialists of ActiveCloud transferred data of the company, including bases of the accounting systems, to the cloud storage and undertook problem solving of secure access, data protection and backup. In the closest plans of the company - testing and connection to new service Lync 2013, transfer of the web projects in a cloud of ActiveCloud by Softline. All works are performed "turnkey" that allowed to control process of migration in "cloud" at each stage and to execute transition imperceptibly for employees.

Transition to "cloud" Tramis provided operational flexibility, uninterrupted data access, their safety and scalability of resources.
