Peter-Service ODPS

Peter-Service ODPS is the software package intended for support of processes of formation and delivery of correspondence.

Description

Within the solution it is selected several separate components providing opportunities:

• Maintaining information on delivery conditions: structure of documents, quantity, preferable delivery mode, required file format
• Formation of output documents (report forms), their grouping in sets and packs, preparation of the created files for delivery or printing, printing on the printer
• Delivery of documents by normal and electronic methods, processing of results of delivery, preserving them in a system, the analysis of this information (feedback)

The product is created in the form of separate modules: one part ensuring functioning of end users is implemented in the form of components of the general web application on the platform of a high-end server of the PETER-SERVICE HAS applications, it will organize the general workplace for the operator.

Other part of modules which is directly working with files is executed in the form of separate services which can be developed, both on several nodes, and in several flows, within one node that helps to scale process of formation of documents.

Functionality of a system

In PETER-SERVICE ODPS all are implemented necessary for flexible work with correspondence of the client.

• Maintaining information on delivery conditions:
  • the Possibility of appointment to the client of any number of orders for delivery of sets of documents, each of which includes such data as structure and the number of the created documents, a preferable delivery mode, an output format (txt, pdf, xls, rtf, html)
  • Separation of interfaces of setup of sets of documents which can be used in a system (single transactions) from the interface on their appointment to clients (regular transactions)
  • the Connectivity to the subscriber of additional services (both paid, and free), depending on that, the order for what set of documents to it was issued that gives ample opportunities on monetization of delivery of correspondence

• Formation and printing of documents:
  • Determination of structure of the created documents as on the basis of information about available for clients of orders for delivery of sets of documents, and using the explicit indication of documents for formation
  • Glueing together of documents in sets (output files)
  • Consolidation of several sets of documents in one output file
  • the Possibility of the indication of any mask which will be used for naming of final files. At the same time in a mask the attributes, including a possibility of the indication of need of creation of directories can be used as fixed, and any
  • Preliminary preparation of files for printing (printing in the file) with a possibility of setup of the entrance trays of the printer used at the same time. Using this mechanism it is possible until direct printing on the printer to prepare the file that allows to transfer loading from process of physical printing on the printer to process of formation of output files which can be executed in advance
  • Printing of files, as previously prepared for printing, and directly from the native-formats supported in a system

• Delivery of documents and processing of results of delivery:
  • Automatic switch-on of the created files in document registers with the corresponding delivery mode within which all transactions connected with delivery are performed
  • the Possibility of maintaining unlimited structure of delivery statuses of documents that allows to analyze results maskimalno widely
  • Possibility of manual setting of results of delivery (delivery status, activity date, any comment) for one or several elements of the register
  • the Possibility of unloading of contents of the register in CSV/XLS file of the set format and loading of results of its delivery from the similar file that allows to organize interaction with different courier companies, both own, and third-party
  • Support of electronic delivery modes, such as email and ftp with a possibility of automatic receiving and loading in the system of results of sending and delivery of documents by these methods.
  • Viewing results of delivery by the client and the document
