The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Zambia starts the portal of analytics

On April 28, 2014 the Prognoz company announced development of an informational portal for the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Zambia.

Project Results

Creation of the portal - continuation of cooperation of the company with the countries of Africa within the Information backbone program initiated by the African Development Bank in 2012 for improvement of data management and their distribution.

The portal of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Zambia is intended for specialists of the state departments and the international organizations and also is available to all interested persons to the analysis of indicators of employment of the population, including - reflecting the volume, structure and geographical distribution of labor resources.

"Continuous access to data provides the governments with sufficient data for decision making. The portal allows to define the needs for labor resources for various sectors of the economy, to consider their deficit or redundancy. Thereby the authorities can prevent growth of strength in labor market and provide full development of the country", - Sergey Lebedinets, the head of the international projects of Prognoz company noted.

The portal provides a set of advanced functions according to the analysis and visualization of statistical data, creation of the reporting on their basis. Possibilities of time series analysis allow users of the portal to monitor change of indicators in long-term dynamics, and interactive maps and evident analytical panels do convenient viewing results. The search tool is built also in the solution. Maps, diagrams and analytical reports can be published in social networks, to print and export to external files of the different formats including which are used in statistical applications.
