On April 28, 2014 the Navicon company announced project completion of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Pergamum company.

Project Tasks

The problem which is alarming the management Pergamum is lack of a real financial picture on sales departments, on representations, on the company in general.

In the company nine sales departments work, each of them supported the type of the project of delivery of devices and the equipment: from equipment of diagnostic complexes before creation of expensive laboratories. Project approach was provided with individual business process in each direction. Respectively, in the company nine specific business processes of purchases and sales which part was conducted in a self-written system, a part on paper worked. The lack of the complete information on projects to the management was difficult to estimate their profitability.

Warehouse activity is not automated, account of arrival and an expense of commodity units was not kept, employees did not receive relevant stock balance, goods quantity in a reserve. The IT service of the company was faced by a problem of the choice of a system which will provide maintaining the single database of commodity units and control of actions of employees within project activity.

Project Progress

Selected the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. Project implementation was entrusted by Navicon.

The company began project works in November, 2012. At the initial stage specialists of Navicon automated sales process of goods from a warehouse. For April 28, 2014 the user of a system sees remaining balance and a reserve on commodity units, can browse a sales history of goods together with the specification (expiration dates, serial number, other data).

Specialists of integrator together with employees of the customer standardized the processes connected with project activity. Developed the universal business process used in all sales departments irrespective of specifics of the project. By means of Microsoft Dynamics NAV the responsible can see all situation on the project in real time.

Project Results

In the second quarter 2014 the customer is going to begin use of functionality of control of discrepancies for the analysis of financial information and to compare it to initially put budget.

"Before implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV we faced difficulties with receiving reliable financial information on projects of sales and respectively on the company in general. It was difficult to estimate profitability of this or that project in real time. Now purchases, sales, financial performance on 7 Russian branches are considered in one information system" — Alexey Klimov, the president noted Pergamum.

With implementation in the company Pergamum the centralized work of users in information environment for all Russian representative offices, including head office is organized.
