Union of DIY (Retail Data System)

Prerequisites of the Project: The lack of the debugged scheme for information transfer and the reporting from participants of the union led to the fact that the efficiency of basic functions of the Union of DIY began to decrease. Data acquisition with a big delay, a large number of errors and distortions, a different format of the provided data became the main problems. Automation of process of obtaining necessary data from participants of the Union became the way out of current situation, and a choice was made for benefit of Retail Data System service from Lasmart company.

Project Tasks: Automation of process of data collection from participants of the Union of DIY

Project Description: The project represented several separate stages, on each of which it was necessary to implement integration of one separate network of the participant with RDS service. Different ERP systems, the different reporting, different internal processes, the different interface, a different format of unloading in each network required individual approach to integration into the portal for each participant. Connection to the portal and setup of the reporting from each network separately took from 2 to 3 weeks.

Result:

• the consolidated statements of participants in the unified type
• possibility of data acquisition with relevance minus 1-2 days
• user-friendly interface and analytical tools
• reduction of number of malformed data
