The CORUS Consulting group completed in the spring of 2014 the project of control automation by warehouse processes based on Manhattan SCALE 2013 for JSC Skandinavsky Dom.
JSC Skandinavsky Dom is the large domestic system integrator performing delivery and hardware maintenance for telecommunication companies in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries. The company is founded in 1997 as branch of the Swedish company RayCom Shipping AB for the purpose of an output to the Russian market of a number of traditional and new telecommunication services and also the equipment of world leading manufacturers. More than 50% of mobile networks of Russia and the CIS are constructed on the equipment provided to JSC Skandinavsky Dom. Besides, the company is a member of Association of the International Automobile Carriers and for ten years offers a full range of services in the field of the international and long-distance transport.
Taking into account development plans for business of JSC Skandinavsky Dom and the need for optimization of warehouse processes by company management the decision on implementation of the new WMS system was made. Based on the careful analysis of proposals of system providers of management of a warehouse, the choice was stopped on the solution Manhattan SCALE. As the partner in implementation CORUS Consulting Group as the exclusive partner of Manhattan Associates in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries acted.
The project was implemented in rather short time and lasted less than half a year. During the project key warehouse processes for ensuring the current activity of the company and further business development of JSC Skandinavsky Dom in the field of rendering 3pl-services were built and automated. The system of billing was in addition developed, its integration from Manhattan SCALE and the poklazhederzhatel of Oracle E-Business Suite who is earlier used by a system is performed.

Clients of JSC Skandinavsky Dom already managed to note positive changes after implementation of a new system of an inventory control. According to Vladislav Saprunov, the chief OTISL, department of purchase management and logistics of MR "YUG" of JSC MTS, "time expenditure on accomplishment of warehouse transactions of acceptance, a complete set and issue of requests for shipment significantly decreased. By our estimates, decrease was about 40-50%. The quality of execution of operations of a complete set increased, the quantity of errors at a complete set stage decreased. Due to introduction of an additional stage of output control the indicator of faultlessness of the shipped requests significantly increased. In addition the efficiency of providing information on requests increased".
