Siemens Building Technologies tries to obtain transparent management of the prices through QlikView

The Qlik company, the leader in development of systems of the business analysis for end users, announced in May, 2014 that Siemens Building Technologies, division of Siemens AG, the world leader in the field of the safe and protected, energy efficient and eco-friendly buildings and infrastructure constructions uses the QlikView Business Discovery platform for fast and convenient price analysis now. Now using QlikView the analysis about 2.2 million records is performed that gives to Siemens the chance clearly to understand a cost structure and also allows to manage discounts and deductions in certain countries.

Among advantages thanks to which in Siemens selected the solution QlikView it is possible to note the associative principle of data processing in RAM and a possibility of joint work that allows users to ask a series of questions and to receive on them answers, being anywhere and working individually or as a part of groups. Support of requests of SQL allows to get also data access in the SAP Business Warehouse storage used by Siemens.

Taking into account positive results which Siemens so far was succeeded to reach the company is going to expand QlikView use at least in 10 countries, analyzing over five million records with its help.
