In "Drugstores 36.6" upgraded QlikView on Qlik Sense

BI Partner entering into the AiTeco group announced in December, 2017 project completion on reengineering of analytical information infrastructure of Pharmacy Chain 36.6 company.

Within the project lasting for 2017 the existing system architecture was completely processed, transition to more modern technology platform is performed, the new ideas connected with analytical information processing for increase in efficiency of network are implemented.

At the time of start of works in group 36.6 it was already purchased BI platform QlikView, however the applications developed on it separate sources, mainly used databases 1C, and did not close even priority tasks of the analysis. Therefore formation of uniform analytical space and a set of dashboards for work with the general data array became a main goal of the project.

The new platform of a business intelligence became Qlik Sense in which, in comparison with the predecessor of QlikView, more modern technologies of visualization which are equally functioning on mobile devices and the PC are used. It means the most evident representations, effective graphics, fast animation for business users in the interactive analysis and an opportunity to work on the screen of smartphones. In a system more than 50 indicators used for the analysis of check statistics, items out of stock, control of warehouse stocks, the analysis of sales and efficiency evaluation of marketing actions are calculated. In the Qlik Sense analytical applications data on warehouses and more than 1900 drugstores of network are in full available.

In spite of the fact that in Qlik Sense there is own "in-memory" the database and an ETL subsystem capable to integrate data from a set of sources and to process huge information arrays, the classical relational data warehouse built on the MS SQL Server platform became the central component of a new business intelligence. It allowed to protect the investments made earlier in solving of tasks of data integration and storage of historical information, having made result of work potentially available to accomplishment and other tasks.
